Aushada
Aushada (medicinal therapy) in Ayurveda involves administering herbal medicines in various forms such as choorna (Powder form), Kashaya (decoction), Aasava and Arishta (Fermented infusions), Vati or Gulika (Tablets) tailored to individual’s constitution and condition.
Ayurveda utilizes raw materials derived from herbal, animal and Mineral sources to prepare various formulations.
Choorna (Powder): Fine herbal powders, Often taken with honey, ghee or warm water.

2. Avipattikara choorna
Kashaya (Decoction) : Is a traditional ayurveda herbal decoction made by boiling specific herbs in water to extract their medicinal properties. This process concentrates active ingredients, making it highly effective for treating various elements. These extracts helps in balancing doshas.

1. Maharasnadi kashaya
2. Amrutottara kashaya
3. Pathyakshadhatryadi kashaya
Panchakarma therapy
Vamana (emesis), Virechana (Purgation), Basti (Enema) etc. these procedures have certain protocol to follow. Here medicines are given in larger doses.
Shastra
Treatment done by using instruments. For example: Agni karma using Agni karma Shalaka, Jaloukavacharana using Jalouka (Leech), Kshara sutra in Bhagandhara (Fistula).
Daivavyapashraya chikitsa
Daivavyapashraya chikitsa, which is another form of treatment, here treatment done through Mantra, Mani (Gemstone) etc.
